Dr. Pratyaksh K. Srivastava is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in advanced heart failure, transplant cardiology, general cardiology, and sports cardiology. With a clinical foundation rooted in rigorous academic training and a commitment to personalized care, Dr. Srivastava brings exceptional expertise and a patient-first approach to the San Diego Cardiac Center team.
Education & Training
Dr. Srivastava graduated with high honors from Dartmouth College, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and recognized with the President’s Leadership Award. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, serving as Student Body President and earning induction into the prestigious Aesculapian Club.
Dr. Srivastava served as Chief Cardiology Fellow during his Fellowship at UCLA and received multiple commendations for excellence in medical student teaching. He further advanced his subspecialty training with a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, one of the nation’s leading heart failure and transplant programs.

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Dr. Srivastava moved to San Diego in high school—where his lifelong passion for science and community service began. After years of academic and medical training across the country, he is proud to return home to serve the San Diego community with dedication, empathy, and clinical excellence.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing ice hockey, golfing, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife and son exploring San Diego.
