Experience of Giving Back
"As a child of immigrant parents the importance of giving back to the community was stressed. My parents encouraged me to pursue medicine, which led to my high school volunteer position in Medical Records at a local hospital, followed by a position as an EKG technician. In college I found biology and chemistry of great interest. The study of medicine seemed natural after that. I feel it is important to share my experience and knowledge with patients. Although my area of interest is in interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular disease, my practice includes all heart patients."
